CAPPS, the California Association of Private Post-secondary Schools, is an association with a membership of more than 300 institutions; including both for-profit and non-profit institutions which are nationally or regionally accredited or approved by the State of California’s Regulatory Agency—the Bureau of Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE)—to offer educational services. The CAPPS mission is to serve the private postsecondary education sector in California, by advocating for the interests of members and students, enhancing and promoting the image of the sector, communicating State and National issues, and providing professional development opportunities for the sector.
The CAPPS Hall of Fame STAR Awards were created in 2009 to honor dedicated CAPPS members. STAR Awards are given to members who over the years have been generous with their time and resources, and have helped CAPPS grow into the sector leader that it is today. David Vice was chosen as the 2021 recipient of the CAPPS Hall of Fame STAR Award.
“This award is the pinnacle of my nearly 25 years in working in the Career Education Sector,” David Vice said upon receiving the award. “Nobody wins this award without being surrounded by extremely talented team members.”
For over 20 years, David Vice has dedicated himself in service to the adult education sector.
