What Business Career Training Programs Does Asher College Offer?
Asher College offers two different business career training programs:
Office Accounting Specialist
- 11-month diploma program
- Builds upon the skills learned in the Office Administrator program, with intensive training emphasizing accounting theories and principles
- Prepares students for the Intuit Quickbooks certification and four Microsoft Office Specialist certification exams in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Students have the option to take an additional six General Education courses (4 weeks each) in order to earn an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Office Accounting degree
Business Administration Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree
- 19-month degree program
- Provides practical career skills in office administration, accounting principles, computer skills, and communication
- Required courses include Principles of Management, Principles of Marketing, Introduction to Project Management, Business Laws & Ethics, Human Resources, and Entrepreneurship
- Computer Fundamentals course prepares students with the skills necessary to identify and explain the basics of computing, IT infrastructure, application, and software, as well as computer security
- Graduates earn an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Business Administration degree
