Asher Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

To our Students, Staff, and Community:

Asher College is continually observing the developing COVID-19 situation.

The safety and wellbeing of our students, employees and our community is our priority. This page has been created to provide recommendations and instructions for students, staff, and the public regarding the COVID-19 virus, our campus operations and any changes in classes or schedules.

As new information becomes available, or if any important changes need to be announced, communication will be sent via email to our employees and students.

For our Veteran students: The government passed legislation Thursday, March 19th to ensure student veterans will continue to receive GI Bill benefits without interruption while studying online.

Campus Operations & Changes:

The information on this page will be updated frequently to inform the students of campus operations or changes to schedules.

Asher College students will be transitioned to online coursework off campus effective immediately. We look forward to having all the students return to campus as soon as possible.

Please remember this is an unprecedented situation, and we will be monitoring things carefully and communicate regularly.

Students will be contacted by their instructors with additional information regarding this transition.

To all Students: Check your emails regularly and stay informed on the status of your campus. Students are encouraged to continue working from home. There are instructors available and you will be contacted by email and phone.

Campus Updates:

Las Vegas, NV Campus – Students working online * Scheduled appointments are required for picking up books and supplies. Virtual Appointments are being scheduled for Admissions and Financial Aid.

Dallas, TX Campus – Students working online *Virtual Appointments are being scheduled for Admissions and Financial Aid.

Sacramento, CA Campus – Students working online ** Scheduled appointments are required for picking up books and supplies. Virtual Appointments are being scheduled for Admissions and Financial Aid.

Ways In Which You Can Support Community Health

  • Wash your hands frequently with soap and hot water for at least 20 seconds
  • Cover your coughs and sneezes
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth
  • Stay home when you or a family member is sick and avoid close contact with others who are sick
