How you can go back to school with Asher College

If you attended school in the past, but never completed your degree, you may be interested to learn that you can return to school and possibly apply those credits towards a new program of study. At Asher College, we help students just like you realize their career dreams. Many of our students come to us with previous educational experience, and a variety of credits from other institutions. Asher welcomes transfer students and all of their experiences! Our programs are focused and accelerated, so you get the training you need without having to take a bunch of courses you won’t need for success in your future career. At Asher, we focus on giving you the training you need to begin or advance yourself in a rewarding career path. Our courses are hands-on, practical, and are taught by professional faculty with years of experience in their field. 

Perhaps you are interested in a career in the medical field, and began a course of study at another school to learn medical billing and coding. You may have been dedicated to your studies, but found it difficult to juggle your full-time job with your course load. If you were forced to take a break from your studies so you could continue working to support yourself, don’t worry! At Asher, we have helped hundreds of students just like you return to school and complete their programs of study. Your past credits can apply towards our Medical Billing and Coding, Medical Records Specialist, Health Information Specialist  or Pharmacy Technician certification or degree programs.

If you have years of experience in business or accounting, you might consider our Office Administrator or Office Accounting Specialist training programs. You may challenge a course like Office Management, or Microsoft Word, or you can take your skills to the next level by building on what you know with our program to earn your Microsoft Office Specialist Certifications. 

In our Information Technology (IT)  Programs, you can transfer credits into one of our eight certification or four degree programs by bringing in your transcripts or showing proof of valid certifications. In some cases, work experience can count as a prerequisite.

Last but not least, if you were not quite sure what you wanted to do for a career when you started college and choose a more traditional route to get some “general education” courses under your belt, Asher has generous Transfer of Credit options for those courses. Bring copies of those transcripts to see if we can award credit for American Government, Introduction to Business, Math and more.
